Allison J. Davis: Founder
Allison J. Davis is the founder of Coopty Productions. She serves as a consultant to non-profit and for profit organizations, developing digital strategies for effective communications. She also continues to pursue her passion in digital technology, shooting, editing and producing segments for documentaries, major media organizations, corporations and not for profit groups. Previously, Davis served as Director of Communications for the Jackie Robinson Foundation. She was also Director of Communications for the historic Riverside Church and was Sr. Vice President-Creative of Dunbar Productions. Dunbar, a company founded in 1997 by Bryant Gumbel in partnership with CBS, provided creative and production services for documentaries and live, taped or live-to-tape events and series, as well as new media projects. Davis also helped launch MSNBC and MSBNC.com and served as a producer of NBC News. Davis began her career at Group W stations in Boston (WBZ-TV) and Pittsburgh (KDKA-TV). She is a founder of the National Association of Black Journalist and serves on several not-for-profit boards.
